For your consideration….

Today’s message is hard, hard, hard but necessary. I HOPE I can do it justice.

The subject is judgment. On the surface it doesn’t seem like too difficult a topic. “Use good judgment.” We say that to our children all of the time. We tend to think of judgment as a tool. We use the word “judgment” when talking about making good decisions.

Today’s message talks about the “absence of judgment.” In the Universe, in God’s kingdom, there is no big or small because all things are possible. There is no impossible. Our authentic self knows this. It is what our HOPE and faith are based on.

Our life is no different. We are the exact image of all that is possible. When we suspend judgment we see that all problems or concerns are equal. All trials and tribulations are equal. All crimes are equal. All successes are equal. All hurts are equal. In the Universe they are all just “so whats.”

Our head and heart tell us different. Saying good bye to a loved one after spending time with them does not feel the same as saying goodbye to them when they have died. But without judgment it is just that because there is no death. There is no separation. It is different and the same all at once. If we are still and suspend judgment, our authentic self still feels their loved one around them. They still feel the love, humor…everything they have always had with them except the body is the same.

Being late may seem like a small problem compared to losing a job but again without judgment, a problem is a problem. It is a blip for a lesson or opportunity. Successes may seem big or small but again without judgment they are all the same. It is all good in the scheme of the whole.

At our core, our authentic self, the self that is in sync with the Universe, we know that judgment is a tool of the ego. It hinders HOPE and faith. Our message today reminds us to suspend judgment.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Lose the judgment. Look with clear eyes, mind, ears and authentic self.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-A little pampering and a little work.

-Catching up with both my girls.

-Dinner out with Mary.

-Fabulous weather.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris

Happy Birthday, Kerri
