For your consideration….

We are asked this. What do you do if you know you are headed in the wrong direction but don’t know the right direction?

Of course, you should stop. Keeping going on the wrong road will only get you farther away from where you should or intend to be. But what if you only know the general direction but not the full set of directions? Then you go as far as you can in the right direction until you get clearer directions.

In life, sometimes we are given little pokes or shakes to make us pause. Maybe we have been on automatic, maybe we have been following others or maybe we just made a bad decision. No matter the reason, we are not headed in the right direction. We know this but we don’t know exactly how to get where we need to be.

We need to have the courage to say this is wrong and stop. We are reminded that we don’t need to see the whole map. We only need to see the next step. We have to have the faith that the right way will be shown to us.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Be brave. Don’t hesitate to say this is the wrong direction. I am stopping and changing course.

What made me smile yesterday….

-My family is having fun in the snow albeit in different parts of the country.

-A day off to fight a bad cold….the worse I have had in 3 years.

-Talking to Shannon and Uncle Harold.

-Beautiful big snow flakes. It was crazy. They stuck to the snow on the lawn but melted off of the driveway. That works.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
