For  your consideration….

“Clean your plate.” is our message today. We are well into the new year. We are at a point where things are starting to build up again. We forget that we don’t have to wait for the new year. Each day can and should be a new beginning if we “clean our plate” each and every day.

How do we do that?

1. We monitor and make conscious decisions on what we allow to go on our plate. Does it belong to us? Is this the right time for it? Do we have the resources?

2. Some things are too big to complete in a day. Chunk them out into daily tasks. That way we see progress without getting overwhelmed.

3. Leave some empty spaces on your plate for those things that “pop” up out of no where and need our attention.

4. Don’t procrastinate. If it is on your plate for today, do it. “Don’t put off til tomorrow what was supposed to and could be done today.”

5. Quit beating yourself up. Let today be a clean plate with no regrets. Allow it to be all that it wants to be.

6. If you need to, make a plan or a list.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Subbing for my friend, Jeannie, on one of my favorite subjects, Social Studies.

-We are having fun with our Echo. Bruce can’t stop asking Alexa to tell him a joke and then he laughs out loud which, of course, makes me laugh out loud. Soooo silly.

-We still have sunshine and moderate temps. Blessed.

-Alex and James made it back home safe and sound and found lots of things done in the new house.

-A beautiful full moon.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
