For your consideration….

Part of our life purpose is to let our Spirit be in charge and lead our way versus our Ego. Often we might ask how we tell the difference. I have said here before and in fact say often to people, “When Spirit is in charge and leading, you feel love. That does not mean that you are necessarily hearing what you want to hear. Quite the opposite. Even if it is not what you want to hear, you still feel loved.” It is like a parent and child. Sometimes no if for his/her highest good and it and it comes from love.

Today’s message has a more specific “Ego” message. It speaks about worrying. Whenever we catch ourselves worrying, we need to hit the pause button and take in a deep breath ….or two or three etc. When we take that breath, we need to release the problem that has us worrying. Ask that it be healed. Then ask the Ego to stand down. Put Spirit back in charge and there is no need for worry. Know that Spirit is already rearranging the Universe for your highest good and the highest good of all.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

P.S. I love this Marianne Williamson quote and it seems appropriate for today’s message.

Ego says, “Once everything falls into place, I will feel peace.”

Spirit says, “Find your peace, and then everything will fall into place.”

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Let it go…put your Spirit in charge.

What made me smile yesterday….

-Sometimes everything you touch doesn’t work, come out right or takes longer than expected. Eventually you just have to give it up and laugh.

-Somehow I managed to get my appetizers done and get to our “Girls Birthday Party” pretty much on time.

-A fun night at the Gordon’s

-James and Alex have a closing and move in date.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
