For your consideration….

Many times we hear “Go back to your roots.” Sometimes we  have worked our way through something and we find we “went back to our roots.” Sometimes when we seek advice we are told to go back to our roots or our “foundation.”

Certainly those in therapy do an examination of where they came from. It helps us to see why we think and feel as we do. It helps identify triggers. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it solves issues but sometimes it does not.

Today we are asked to think about that. Consider that no matter to what degree we find solace, deep down we know there is more. Our roots did not begin at birth or even conception. Our roots began when we were created by God’s thoughts, design and pure love.

Our childhood to where we are now are “so whats” because deeper than that are our roots firmly planted God.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Smile, rest, laugh.

What made me smile yesterday….

-Sunshine.

-Catching up with both my girls.

-Great pictures of Taylor that started my day off with a big chuckle.

-Standing with my Peanut, Mac, as her sponsor as she was presented to her church as a confirmation candidate.

-Dinner with the Gordons

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
