For your consideration…..

I was not surprised to get this message today. It started with a video of an interview shared by my friend on Facebook. I in turn talked about it to my friend Jackie last night. Then in meditation today I was reminded that it was a living example of a book I have and love. Then as I drew a card to journal on, the message appeared again.

The message is the essence of life. That essence is love. Love and only love is real.

We forget that and we live in fear. We might think not but if we get to the root of why we do things, most often it is out of fear. Fear of what would happen if we didn’t.

Our body, mind and spirit makes us one. When one is hurt, then the others are also affected. Fear wears on our body and causes illness. One of my favorite books is by Louise L. Hay, You Can Heal Your Life. I have it as a link on my reference page. I have had it for years and periodically reread it. I highly recommend it and love that it came in as part of today’s message.

When we lose our fear and live in joy and love, our world changes. Our perspective changes. We find peace when we can just give up on fear and hand it over to our Guidance. We love control but this surrender of fear allows joy to take over and fill our body, mind and spirit. It allows us to love and be loved unconditionally.

Here is the link that I know helped lead me to today’s message. http://youtu.be/y1VG7895XnU

Joy is living without fear. It is in this state of joy that we find the true essence of life….love.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths…..even if it is cold.

-Let go of fear. Face it down and give it a “so what” and release it.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-At Stillwater there is no cable. Consequently, I get all kinds of TV shows. Yesterday there was a Hill Street Blues marathon.

-Alex’s fabulous tile job. I am impressed.

-Catching up with Jackie.

-Peace, a fireplace and a good book.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
