For your consideration…..

Oh my goodness, I remembered the above photo as soon as it was given to me. It is a testament to my determination to stick to what I am given that I am using it today. Heaven knows, I rarely agree with Susan Sarandon. I have a real issue with “movie stars” who use their stardom to peddle their own agendas….who want to do our thinking for us and tell us how we should feel, act and vote. Having said that, they can not have that power unless we give it to them. It is up to us to do our own thinking. It is up to each of us to examine our own body, mind and spirit and know what is right. It is why I start each blog with “for your consideration.” I have no idea from one day to the next who exactly the message is meant for. I trust that those who it is meant for will know as will those who it is not meant for. My agreement with my Guidance is to deliver the message without judgment.

Having said that, the above quote is right for today’s message. Today is Sunday, perhaps we have asked for intercession from our God. That is perfect. We have been told over and over again that our Guidance is available to us 24/7. However, at the same time might we ask what we can do to help the world we live in?

Each one of us can make a difference, we do make a difference, either positively or negatively. Most of our lives we do it bit by bit, piece by piece. What today’s message is about is us as a Oneness. We can turn the tide of the world, bit by bit, piece by piece, action by action, one person at a time. The key is that we have to believe it. We have to know….like we know….like we know that our little actions combined create a huge force.

It is like simple versus compound interest. If we each do our little bit, soon enough we become contagious. Others will mimic us. They tap into their own spirit’s joys and gifts. That is the compounding.

Marianne Williamson wrote a prayer for morning. I may have shared it before. I often read it in the morning after I blog. I love it because it reminds us of our ability to serve and asks for God to be ever present reminding us of that.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Dear God,
I give this day to You.
May my mind stay centered on the things of spirit.
May I not be tempted to stray from love.
As I begin this day, I open to receive You.
Please enter where You already abide.
May my mind and heart be pure and true, and may I not deviate from the things of goodness.
May I see the love and innocence in all mankind, behind the masks we all wear and the illusions of this worldly plane.
I surrender to You my doings this day.
I ask only that they serve You and the healing of the world.
May I bring Your love and goodness with me, to give unto others wherever I go.
Make me the person You would have me be.
Direct my footsteps, and show me what You would have me do.
Make the world a safer, more beautiful place.
Bless all Your creatures.
Heal us all, and use me, dear Lord, that I might know the joy of being used by You. Amen.
