What I Want (in part)

Found out what i dreamt of,
and i looked it up,
At this very moment,
what i want is what i’ve got,
Found out what was missing,
and i looked it up,
And at this very moment,
what i want is what i’ve got,

Life is too short to hold back,
I won’t live in the past,
being lonely now i know,
This is the time of my life,
Yes i’m sure,
what i want is what i’ve got,

Miracles appear i know,
(miracles appear i know)
Now i can see it show,
Cause i,

For your consideration….

I love when I am given a song as the message. Like today, I rarely get the title but get lyrics that help me locate it. I am grateful for Google.

“What I want is what I’ve got.” At first thought most of us would not agree with this statement. Yet if we sit with it and really think about it we find it is true.

“What about our dreams?” we might ask.

We are not bystanders in our life. We forget that we are manifestors. Energy flows where our attention goes. How much energy do we apply to our dreams going from day-to-day? Most of our energy is put into what we have and what we’ve got. So it continues. When we introduce change, we get change. When we change our focus, we change our lives.

We have all heard the saying, “Be careful what you wish for.” The energy we focus on creates and attracts. We are reminded today to be mindful of what we are focusing on.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Be mindful of your energy.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-Sunshine and recess.

-Meeting Kathy after work.

-Talking with my sister-in-law about contractor woes. Between her and Alex, they have some stories. Today we had to just laugh about them. It felt good.

-Hearing from my Peanut. We have an unexpected dinner planned for Friday.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
