For your consideration….

This morning I was reminded to think about the St. Clair River. The St. Clair River is part of the United States and Canadian border. It is steps away from my cottage, Stillwater. I was asked to consider the question, “Is it what divides us or what unites us?” Of course, either answer is correct. The point is, it boils down to perspective and attitude.

We are told today that all conflict and disharmony is the same. The point of division is also the point of unification. Where we divide is where we will find solution and unite.

It is all a matter of how we look at things and our vision for how we want them to be. The division is not bad because it identifies the point where we can find unification. It is the place to start because it is the place that already binds us.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Don’t ignore or run away from conflict. Run to it and find out how to unravel it and make it right.

What made me smile yesterday….

-Awesome students.

-Working with 5th graders on how to deal with tough choices.

-A good book.

-Lots of tasks done. Some days they just seem easy. You sit down and think how did I just get all of that done

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
