LISTENING TO THE SEASHELL/ JOSEPHINE WALL:

“Listening To A Seashell” by Josephine Wall

For your consideration…..

Do you hear what I hear? More importantly do you hear the real intention?

Peter Drucker says, “The most important part of communication is hearing what isn’t being said.” While this is so true, it is important to note that we understand the true intention of what is said and unsaid.

We have to remember that too often we hear through the filters of our own mental models. We are asked to remember that and before we go off and put ourselves out on a limb,  make sure that what we heard is what the speaker intended.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE actions steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Be an active listener. Listen with your ears, mind and heart.

What made me smile yesterday….

-A slow easy day at Stillwater.

-Alex got home all safe and sound.

-Catching up with Jody.

-Reading in front of the fireplace.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
