For your consideration…..

So much of the time it seems that there is just not enough of it. We feel the need to cram as much as we can in a day that we often extend our waking day and evening hours. We shorten our sleeping hours. We are asked? Do we consistently miss school, work, appointments etc.?

Our sleep time is just as important as everything else. Our body needs sleep. It is an essential component of staying healthy. We know that but we forget that while our body needs sleep our soul never sleeps. When we lay our body down, our soul is still awake and our Guidance now has untethered access to it. When we let our body sleep, we remove most of the “noise” and “clutter” surrounding us. When we sleep, our soul can take center stage. It is easier for it to hear what it needs to hear from. Cutting our sleep time is like cutting classes which does not serve us well.

We are reminded today to get good sleep. Let the clutter go and get a good nights rest.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Get good sleep…..consistently.

What made me smile yesterday….

-Seeing how far this year’s kindergarteners have come.

-Learning more about the rain forest.

-A good book.

-Recess….taking a break outside. We should all make recess part of our day. Who made the cutoff for recess in grade school?

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
