Listen To Your Heart by Roxette (In part)

Sometimes you wonder if this fight is worthwhile.
The precious moments are all lost in the tide, yea.
They’re swept away and nothing is what it seems,
the feeling of belonging to your dreams.

Listen to your heart
when he’s calling for you.
Listen to your heart
there’s nothing else you can do.
I don’t know where you’re going
and I don’t know why,
but listen to your heart

For your consideration…..

Today’s message is so simple but not always easy to do. “Take a leap of faith.”

Maybe we can’t see the plan. Maybe we don’t understand what is going on. Maybe we are unsure of our next steps or what we should or shouldn’t do. There is a lot of uncertainty going on in the world. In actuality there is little we really understand but that is ok. We don’t need to. We have an inner compass to guide us. We need to trust our heart and take a leap of faith.

Taking leaps in faith IS the action plan.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Listen for the answer. Have faith in it.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-It was a big variety day. I like that.

-Rain held off until all my recesses were done.

-Settling a squabble on the playground, I assure a girl that her boots that the boys just got mud on will be fine. “Are you sure?” “Yes, I am sure. It is all good.” To that her friend says, “That’s what my mom always says.”

-Upon leaving the classroom the teacher wrote that she “high fives” her students. I stood by the door as the first graders filed out and startedgiving them high fives. Then a little girl tells me, “Sometimes she lets us give hugs.” “I’m all good with that.” So many wanted a hug. Finally, the second to the last boy gives me a hug and says, “You smell like my grandma.” “Does your grandma smell good?” I ask. “Yes!” “Then thank you very much.”

-Settling a squabble on the playground, I assure a student who’s boots the boys tramped on and made muddy, “They will be fine.” “Are you sure?” “Yes, I am sure. It is all good.” To that her friend says, “That’s what my mom always says.”

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
