For your consideration…

This is another message about the light of our authentic self. Obviously this is an important message. We keep getting it because either I am not communicating it all or we are not giving it the consideration necessary to accept it into our lives.

We are born with a perpetual light from God. It sits in our authentic self. WE are in charge of it. WE can let it shine or not. WE can share it or not. WE can fan it letting it burn bright or WE can allow it to fade into nothing but a flicker.

Our perpetual light is completely independent. We often forget that. We feel that when we share it there must be a reciprocation. And if there isn’t, we back off with hurt feelings, embarrassment, anger etc. We are reminded that when we have those feelings of rejection, it is our ego talking. We let our ego talk us into all kinds of scenarios that may or may not be true. I am as guilty as anyone of this.

Our perpetual light, is love, in its purest form. It requires no reciprocation because it has no judgment. Its fuel is in sharing it and giving it with no strings attached. We give love because we have abundant love to give. The act of pure giving, NOT reciprocation, is the fuel our light needs to burn brighter. It is also the magnet that will attract pure love back to us. That is a bonus. Another bonus it that it serves as a mirror reflecting back to others, showing them what their perpetual light looks like and encouraging them to share it as well.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Let your perpetual light shine.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-Yikes….middle schoolers. They ran the gamut. I had some that are reflective of HOPE for the world’s future. Then there are others that just plain scare you. Blessings to all.

-A call saying our dishwasher may come a day early.

-Catching up with Dianne and a dinner party planned.

-Love and joy. Alex sent us a video of a flyover she did for a Veteran’s Day celebration.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
