For your consideration…..

I know I can stand to give this message some extra thought. “Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today.Thomas Jefferson.

I know we have all heard that before. Usually it comes in the form of a reprimand or a push into action.

Today’s message is different. It tells us that we do not want to procrastinate. We do not want to put off today’s work until tomorrow because we do not want to hinder ourselves from being able to participate in the opportunities put in our path tomorrow.

In other words, we may be tempted to turn down opportunities (meeting new people, joining new things, going someplace, a fun event etc. etc. etc.), if we have to do/finish work, tasks, business etc. from the previous day(s). If we have unfinished things we have committed ourselves to, we may have to say no to things that we want to/know we should say yes to.

Today is a gentle reminder not to get ourselves boxed in when we don’t have to. But as always, we have a choice. We always have a choice.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water even if you don’t want to.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Do.

What made me smile yesterday….

-Sleeping in albeit only til 7:30. I slept unit I wanted to wake up.

-Finishing a good book and starting another.

-Lunch with Carol.

-Then some chores around the house. I’m choosing the lead by example role with my husband. I’ll do this part of the house today. Maybe you can do yours in the next day or so. Fair enough? I think so.

-Go Blue.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
