For your consideration….

Light, glorious light.

Physical and non-physical light is vital to both our physical and mental health.

As we move into fall, we are reminded how important light is. Fall is a transition month and we gradually see less light. We miss it at the beginning and end of the day but don’t notice it as much the rest of the time.

Today’s message reminds us that as we move through the fall and winter, we have to be more aware of light….specifically the lack of it. We have  to seek it out. We need to open our curtains, blinds or drapes and let the sunshine in. We still need to get outdoors as much as we can and soak up the sun’s rays. In the absence of sunlight, we need to light up our homes. Consider investing in LED lights. They are bright and consume little energy.

Do things and seek people who make your soul light up. A soul full of light starves depression. Seek light.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Bask in the sunshine.

What made me smile yesterday….

-I took care of the broken dishwasher…bought a new one. While I was there, I upgraded my phone. It took the better half of the afternoon but it is done.

-Talking with Jackie. Yeah, we will get to get together this weekend.

-Ahhh, Stillwater. “Ohhhh, how I have missed you.”

-I have always had a hard time sleeping more than 6 hours. Last night I cracked a window. The beautiful wind chimes sang all night long. I slept 12 hours. I feel phenomenal.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
