Competition

For your consideration….

“It is never about winning.”

That is our message today. The competition, the opponent, is always ourselves first. We are competing against ourselves.

Whether we are competing in a board game, a sporting event, for a job, for affection…anything in life…, it is not about winning. It is about bringing our best self. That means giving it our all by trying our best. It means bringing an “I can” attitude. It means having and bringing the best of our intentions.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Compete with your best self.

What made me smile yesterday….

-Recess….getting the opportunity during the day to get outdoors and take in those deep breaths and reset.

-Great pictures of James’ new house. Wow, lots of progress.

-Going to dinner and the movies with neighbor, Joan.

-Absolutely perfect weather. Cold nights and warm days.
