For your consideration….

A day of rest. A day of worship. A down day. What comes to your mind when you think of Sunday?

Sunday is a day of reflection. We need that because we don’t always remember or take the time to do that. Going to church services is “scheduled.” We have planned a time of reflection. It is good. But if we don’t go to church services, then we need to find a way to remind ourselves to take a “time out.”

We all need time to go within, open up our communication channels. Sundays are a good time for that.

Everyday we are reminded in “Bit by bit, piece by piece…” to meditate/pray for the same reason. When we keep our communication channels open with our Guidance, we realize we are never alone and without help and support. It is easier to see our infinite possibilities.

Today we are given another helpful hint. If we can not start our day with meditation and/or prayer, then consider writing a prayer to say each morning. Consider it a good morning to our Guidance. Or….(see we have lots of practical hints) you can say the following prayer by Marianne Williamson from her book Illuminata.

Dear God,

I give this day to You.
May my mind stay centered on the things of spirit.
May I not be tempted to stray from love.
As I begin this day, I open to receive You.
Please enter where You already abide.
May my mind and heart be pure and true, and may I not deviate from the things of goodness.
May I see the love and innocence in all mankind, behind the masks we all wear and the illusions of this worldly plane.
I surrender to You my doings this day.
I ask only that they serve You and the healing of the world.
May I bring Your love and goodness with me, to give unto others wherever I go.
Make me the person You would have me be.
Direct my footsteps, and show me what You would have me do.
Make the world a safer, more beautiful place.
Bless all Your creatures.
Heal us all, and use me, dear Lord, that I might know the joy of being used by You.
Amen.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths. Think of what you are releasing. Think about what you want to take in.

-Talk to your Guidance. Pause, talk. Pause, listen.

What made me smile yesterday……

-Lots and lots of tasks done…big and little. I miss Stillwater but feel good about all I have accomplished.

-Yeah, Michigan.

-Hubby help.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
