For your consideration…..

Ahhh…Labor Day, the unofficial last day of summer. Of course, we know we have some summer left but we tend to think of it as the end of our “play time.” And of course, that is also not true. It is just what our “attitude” is telling us. Each day is an exciting new day, not just Labor Day, Christmas, First Day of School, Easter, vacation etc.

Too often we tend to look ahead to the exciting milestones and forget the opportunity of the day and moment we are in. There is no guarantee that we will have a tomorrow or that it will be more exciting than today.

Each day we have the opportunity to greet the new day and set the intention for it. We are asked to be mindful of how we choose to start our day.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate/pray…ask..”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water for clarity of the mind, spirit and body.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Consider starting your day outside, taking deep breaths and setting your intention for the day.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-I walked out to go to my car at Stillwater. I heard a small voice say “Good morning.” It was my neighbors granddaughter. I responded and then asked her, “Did you get a good night’s snooze. “YES I DID!” she responded.

-The morning was cool enough to meditate outside.

-Breakfast with my cousin, Karen. Wow, lots of news! Go, Karen.

-An easy ride home.

-Errands ran…getting ready for the week.
