“Counting Stars” (In part)

Writer(s): Ryan Tedder

Lately I been, I been losing sleep
Dreaming ’bout the things that we could be
But baby I been, I been prayin’ hard
Said no more counting dollars
We’ll be counting stars
Yeah, we’ll be counting stars

I see this life
Like a swinging vine
Swing my heart across the line
In my faces flashing signs
Seek it out and ye shall find
The old, but I’m not that old
Young, but I’m not that bold
And I don’t think the world is sold
I’m just doing what we’re told
I, feel something so right
But doing the wrong thing
I, feel something so wrong
But doing the right thing
I could lie, could lie, could lie
Everything that kills me makes me feel alive

For your consideration….

Oh my goodness. I am exhausted. Today’s message came in my dream state. Over and over again I kept hearing the above lyrics. Could have, should have, would have but I didn’t just get up and write the blog even though I know this is the only way I will be able to release this. On the bright side, we know this message is important. It refuses to be dismissed.

Our message is this. We are born with “no experience necessary.” However, we need experiences to grow. After birth we start small, learn and test love. We learn and test demand. We learn what we are capable of and what we are not. We learn what we want and need to learn. It is an ongoing process throughout our life.

Of course, testy crabby me this morning argues, “I thought we were born fully qualified with life experiences from past lives.” To which I received this response, “Yes, Chris, you do come with all your past life(s) experiences. Once mastered they are no long “experiences” they are “tools.” They are the life tools in your life tool box that you were born with.”

It is like school. We come lacking knowledge but once we have it, it can not be taken away. It is ours to use or not use forever.

We learn today that we have the tools to learn the experiences we need and want to move on and become the evolved soul we want to be. It is up to us use them. We have a choice. We always have a choice.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Try….try new things.

What made me smile yesterday….

-Breakfast with Jody.

-Mac’s before and after cupcakes. Wow!

-Talking with Jackie.

-Dad and I had a good chuckle after we talked to Alex. I’m sure that is not what she intended but….

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
