For  your consideration….

We all get them, those random thoughts that seem to come out of no where, goosebumps, deja vu etc. Those “zings”  jump in the middle of our thoughts and what we are doing for seemingly no apparent reason. But there is a reason and the reason we are zinged is to draw our attention to it.

Today’s message talks about a specific kind of zing. It talks about ones that give a kind thought or words that are meant to be delivered to another. Perhaps we know this person but often we do not or at least do not know them well. Because of that, we may be inclined to hold them to ourselves and not deliver them. We worry about what they will think of us. We worry they will think us strange.

We are reminded today that when a zing is meant for someone else, it is not about us. We need to ask our ego to step down and move forward with grace and deliver the message or action. Maybe it is a compliment. Maybe it is assistance. Maybe it is advice. Maybe it is a chuckle. Maybe it is a hug.

When we are zinged to do a “random act of kindness,” we are asked to act upon it.

” Neither fire nor wind, birth nor death  can erase our good deeds.”

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Drink lots of water.

-Pray for rain and assistance for the forest fires that have been burning out west for the past month.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-A great recipe from my Mom’s friend, Joanne. It was good to pull it out.

-Seeing old friends to send Christie off on her new adventure to Colorado.

-Jame’s house is getting walls. Exciting.

-Getting to talk to both my girls.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
