For your consideration….

We hear a lot about gratitude. We know that we should be grateful and give thanks. Yes, we know that we can look around us and see how very lucky and blessed we are. And we know that we should not judge. Without judgment, there is no big and small on the people and things we are grateful for. Each day at the end of this blog, I try to demonstrate this as an example that each day is worthy of gratitude.

Today’s message asks us a question. “When you want to buy a gift for someone, how do you decide what to buy? What do you want to know?” I think most of us want to know what the person likes or needs. If we can know these things, it makes our buying and giving experience so much easier.

That is our example for today’s message. When we express gratitude, we are letting the Universe know what we like so that it  can rearrange itself so we get more of the same.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?” Or if you are stuck or confused on anything throughout your day, pause and ask the same question.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get more exercise today than you got yesterday.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths. Remember, these do not have to be all at once. And it doesn’t have to be only 10. Breath is our reset button. We can use it anytime we need to get back to calm.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-A much-needed thunderstorm.

-Cooking and delivering a dinner to a friend whose family is going through some tough times.

-Great pictures of Joanne, Lois, Linda and Sharon on Facebook. These were my Mom’s closest friends. Then my Sis sent me another of Sue and Joanne the last time we saw “the girls.”

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
