For your consideration…..

I love today’s message for so many reasons. First it uses an analogy of a mother and child and it is my own mother’s birthday. Secondly, I received an affirmation within my own journaling this morning. Finally, because it is so practical, so achievable, so user-friendly.

This message is about negative emotions ie; sadness, anger, disappointment, anxiety, loneliness, confusion, bored etc.

Remember everything has a balance and counterbalance. The Universe is constantly doing a juggling act to accommodate our free will thoughts, words and actions. So, when we are feeling down, not quite ourselves, not happy, we need to ask ourselves, “Where did our love go?” “Where did our love go for this person, this job, life?”

Rarely does a parent lose love for a child. Why? It is because at the very beginning of the child’s life we committed to eternal love. It is our focus. It is our intention. This is our benchmark.

When our relationships are troubled, our career is troubled, our life is troubled, we need to remember the love that drew us to them in the first place. We need to remember the commitment we made to them. We need to focus on our original intention to that commitment.

Connect with the light and love that is in every person and situation. It is the counter balance needed to those negative energies.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate/pray..ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Focus on the love and light that is present in all.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-A great text from Mac.

-AJ’s team won their first game at States.

-Yvonne is coming through for me with the paper I decided I needed.

-Good news from Alex.

-I’m not sure what was going on in my yard. Maybe it is the pull of the moon. Whatever the reason, my yard was a flurry of activity. A groundhog very busy building something. A rabbit sitting on her nest, chasing birds away and then finally playing with her mate. They were chasing each other and doing something I have never seen before. Jumping straight up high into the air. Too fun. Bruce and I were both laughing out loud.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
