Duality

Duality

“an instance of opposition or contrast between two concepts or two aspects of something; a dualism.”

For your consideration……

I was only given the one word, duality,  today and examples. I confess I had to look up the word to see how it matched the pictures and what the message was. I think I have it.

Consider the mountains and valleys. Each is so much more when they are in the same landscape. Or notice how much more lush a forest looks against bare rock and visa versa. We notice the wind by how much the trees are dancing or not. We notice joy by the influx of laughter or success by a rousing cheer.

Duality makes opposites more than each are standing on their own.

We are reminded of this today because the character of who we are on the outside and within contains many dualities. It makes us unique. They make us more. It is all good.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate/pray….ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Notice the duality and the depth it adds to the experience.

What made me smile yesterday……

-A trip to Mt. Baker with the family.

-Great pizza where you would least expect it.

-We were blessed with more sunshine. The sun has shone each and every day we have been here.

-How much Alex appreciates a good meal.
