For your consideration……
I have to say. This is the first time a message has ever come in this way. It came in with the song, “Betty Davis Eyes.” As I read the lyrics to the song, I knew it wasn’t the lyrics that were the message because they are pretty risqué for this blog. It is the “more” behind the words that are our message.
Whether you know or really listen to the words of this song or not, it implies the mystery of a woman and how it can draw you in.
Our message is about that mystery. Each of us is born unique. This uniqueness is our essence, our mystery. It is what makes us all who are the same different from one another.
As we move through life we discover each others essence. It is what attracts us to one another or even make us keep our distance.
That is what today’s message is about. Our essence is ours to reveal should we choose to. Most people tend to be discriminant in who they reveal their whole self to. Usually we reserve it for family and friends. This is normal.
To be discriminant is normal as long as we are doing it from a place of self-love. However, our message today tells us that some people are discriminant out of fear. They are afraid they are not good enough. They are afraid that if someone sees their essence, they will no longer be attracted to them.
We are asked today to drop our fear. Our essence is good enough. It is the best part of us. It is the mystery that draws people to us.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Be comfortable and celebrate who you are.
