Hone Your Skills

For your consideration…..

My sense is that this message is connected to yesterday’s message where we were asked to limit our exposure to the negative energy especially from the media. We were asked to correct negative energy and replace it with positive.

Today we are reminded that we all are born “connected.” Everyone of us has the ability to “hear and/or feel” our Guidance. Our Guidance is with us always, 24/7. Our life and the lives of all grow and excel when we “hone” our skills to hear our Guidance and act accordingly.

My sense is that few believe this. More believe that a few people are born with special psychic abilities. This is true. Some people are born with their intuitive skills already honed and they haven’t let anyone snuff them out. But it is not true that only a few a few people have them. We all do.

Most people can see the value of having these skills but don’t believe they possess them to any great degree. Again, this is false. We all have them. We all have to “hone” them.

How can we do that? We can study with people or take a class. We can read and learn. Ultimately, we have to practice.

Just do it! First we have to ask our ego to step down. Go through the motions either put it in a box or usher it out a door and close the door. It seems symbolic but it reminds us we are in charge of our power. Then get silent.

When I am silent and settled,  I greet and welcome in my Guidance. “Good morning God, Archangels and Angels (sometimes I call specific ones by name, Archangel Metatron, Archangel Michael etc.). Good morning, Lydia (my Guardian Angel), White Eagle (my Guide who clears away negative energy), Lillee (my Angel who guards my joy door). Good morning to all my Angels and Guides.”

You may want to open up with a greeting or a prayer. This lets your Guidance know that you are ready to listen. You are in essence opening up a channel of communication. It is like picking up the phone to call someone. Then listen. Or you can ask a question. What do you hear, probably not through your ears, but in your head and heart? Don’t judge it. Honor it. When you think communication is done, ask “Is there more?” When you are confident, there is no more, thank your Guidance. Write down what you heard. Think about what it means.

Open up communication at least once every single day. This is how you “hone” your skills. It is how you establish an open line of communication with your Guidance. Soon you will recognize your Guidance’s voice even when you are not silent. You will recognize their input throughout your day.

How do you know it is your Guidance and not your ego? Your Guidance is always loving and kind. Their message, even when it is not what we wanted to hear, is loving. Your ego’s message reflects judgment.

This is the reason we need to go within and start to listen and act. It is one more way that we, each of us, can change the world to the world we want to see.

We are asked to “hone” our skills.

That is our HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?” Or you can ask anything at all. or you can ask no questions and just listen.

-Drink lots of water. It helps with clarity.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Relax and be joyous. Laugh out loud.

What made me smile yesterday….

-Sitting in the sun with a good book.

-Listening and chatting to neighbors. I love when everyone first starts to spend time outside in the Spring and talk to each other in the next yard or across the canal.

-A good email from Alex. In a few weeks we will be able to talk to her each day and we can’t wait.

-Talking with my Sis and the synchronicity. As I picked up my phone to call her, she called me.
