For your consideration……

So often we hear people say “She/he is soooo lucky.” or “They always have good luck.” Is it true? Perhaps. Or is it that they are open for it?

Could it be that those lucky people are lucky because they are always expecting luck. They are always looking for it and ready to snap it up. Maybe those lucky people are lucky because they feel that luck is always possible. Maybe they are lucky because they know that luck is plentiful and they just know that they are as probable as anyone else to receive it. Maybe their attitude is “Ok here I am ready and willing to receive.” And when they do, they feel grateful….not entitled or “feeling” it’s about time.

If you have time to ponder today, perhaps you can ponder on your attitude about luck. Are you expecting it or not? If you feel lucky, you are and you will be blessed with it.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate/pray….ask….”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Expect good things.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-A beautiful certificate from Alex. It was lost but we found it in perfect condition. Wow, what a close call.

-A fun school day….2 recesses….got to love Fridays.

-That heavy feeling that has been hanging over….like we were really working hard at everything…..is finally lifted.

-A successful framing and hanging adventure. Bruce, “Let’s give some space between these 2 so it doesn’t look like a house.” Worker bee me says, “OK.” Of course, I did not get the space I had intended so now I can read Bruce’s mind before he blurts out, “I wish I wouldn’t have said that.” No matter. It looks good. And we are really proud parents.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
