For your consideration…….

“It just takes practice.”

How many times have we heard that throughout life? We are encouraged by these words. They remind us that we can attain a goal and everyone has to do it. They indicate we can achieve our goal with hard work and that we have control of “getting better at or learning” what we are seeking.

Think about it…..learning to dive or another sport, getting a grasp on math, job interviews etc. all take practice. We are reminded of this today and reminded to stop judging ourselves or beating ourselves up when we “think” we make a mistake. When we wish we would have done things differently, we are asked to drop the judgment and think about it. We just need more practice. We learned something from the experience. We can….will…..do better next time.

We are also reminded that just like any sport, it helps to have great coaches and mentors. It helps to have a team supporting you. It helps to have “fans,” people who love you.

Do yourself a favor and surround  yourself with a great team and support system.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……

-Meditate/pray…ask….”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Look to your “team” for support. Be a great team player.

What made me smile yesterday…….

-Sunshine.

-I can see my back porch again.

-Teaching on my favorite team. For the first time I heard “women’s rights” mentioned in a public school.

-A beautiful card (and gift) from a favorite teacher, Jeannie.

-Bruce and I meeting Karyn and having dinner with her and Jim. Fun.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
