Well you know those times when you feel like
There’s a sign there on your back
That says I don’t mind if you kick me, seems like everybody has
Things go from bad to worse
You think it can’t get worse than that
And then they doYou step off the straight and narrow
And you don’t know where you are
Used the needle of your compass, to sew up your broken heart
Ask directions from a genie in a bottle of jim beam
And she lies to you
That’s when you learn the truth

I’ve been deep down in that darkness
I’ve been down to my last match
Felt a hundred different deamons breathin’ fire down my back
And I knew that if I stumbled I’d fall right into the trap
That they were layin’
But the good news is there’s angels everywhere out on the street
Holdin’ out a hand to pull you back up on your feet
The one’s that you’ve been draggin’ for so long
You’re on your knees might as well be prayin’
Guess what I’m sayin’

For your consideration……
Keep on movin’. Nothing is forever, the good or the bad. We know that. We have been here before in the most joyous of times and the saddest of times. We have been here before in the easiest of times and the toughest of times.
Just keep movin’ and looking for the light. It is there. It is always there. Deep down you know that. Remember it. Remember its promise.
Most of all remember, you are never alone….ever. Take a few deep breaths, ask for support and just keep movin’. Light is just ahead.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……
-Meditate/pray….ask…..”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Keep on movin’ because the good news is “There’s Angels everwhere.”
What made me smile yesterday…….
-Sunshine.
-I was able to carve out recess time for my 3rd graders. They need it… I need it…we all need it.
-All of the vacation news with daughter number one and her family.
-Catching up with Jackie and Jen.
-Taxes done.
