For your consideration……

We love to complicate things. We have so many “and’s and but’s.” Sometimes it is hard to see where the story, problem or task began. It is hard to see how we can solve or reach a successful conclusion.

I often tell my students to “chunk” things out. We can paralyze ourselves when we look at a project or problem in its entirety. It just seems too overwhelming and big for us. However, if we reduce it into smaller parts, we can see ways to accomplish it one step at a time. It is easy to get caught up in the “idea” of the whole task and forget this. I am very guilty of this.

Today we are told to reduce to its simplest form. Whatever our problem or task, reduce it. Break it down into clear manageable steps. Take it down to what is most important. Take it down to the purest form of the goal. With our vision cleared we will see that we can be successful and solve the problem or accomplish the goal.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……

-Meditate/pray…ask….”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?” See “steps.”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Simplify….reduce.

What made me smile yesterday……

-Another snow day.

-Playing in it with the dog. He was so happy and made me giggle.

-Details of vacation falling into place.

-Catching Cathy’s excitement.

-My sister getting herself checked out.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
