Wind of Change

Wind of Change by Josephine Wall

Everything Must Change by James Ingram

Everything must change
Nothing stays the same
Everyone will change
No one stays the same

The young become the old
And mysteries do unfold
‘Cause that’s the way of time
Nothing and no one goes unchanged

There are not many things in life
You can be sure of, except

Rain comes from the clouds
Sun lights up the sky
And hummingbirds do fly

Winter turns to spring
A wounded heart will heal, oh yeah, it will heal
But never much too soon
Yes, everything and everyone will change

There are not many things in life
You can be sure of, oh no, no, no……

For your consideration……

So often we hear that we or someone else is the same as they always were or nothing every changes. Nothing could be further from the truth.

We are asked to pause and reflect back on our journey thus far. We are all radically different from who we were 10, 20, 30 etc. years ago. We have grown. We are so much more than we were. Ahhh, so now we see it.

So where does this “sense” that we are the same come from. It comes from that part of us that is always true, our authentic self. That part of self that was created unique and came with its own life tool kit to help us through the life that changes around us. It is the yeast in the bread. It is the catalyst that spurs us on.

We are always changing because everything around us is always changing. We do not have to be afraid or resist it because our authentic self is secure and fully adept at handling it all.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate/pray….ask….”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths. Remember if it is too cold out, crack a window.

-Celebrate the new you.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-A wonderful full night of sleep.

-Sunshine almost all day.

-Writing.

-A great email from Alex. Great accomplishments.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
