For your consideration……

We are asked to think about this. “If we are confident and comfortable with our beliefs, then why do we need to argue about them?”

If we know what we believe in and are comfortable with it, it just is. It is part of us. We don’t have to argue about it. We don’t need anyone else’s approval. We don’t need to persuade anyone else. It doesn’t matter how many, if anyone, is on the same page. It just is.

Our truth is our truth. It fits like a glove. It is in sync with the core of our very being. We do not have to defend it. We don’t have to convince anyone we are right. It just is.

The very act of arguing suggests there is doubt. There is wiggle room. We are not as sure as we think or act. Think about that before entering into an argument or debate. Know that when you hear others arguing.

Think about how peaceful the world would be if everyone simply lived their own truth…..the goodness of their authentic self…..and allowed others to do the same.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate/pray….ask….”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get at least 10 deep breaths of fresh air. If it is too cold to go outside, crack a window.

-Be confident in your truth.

What made me smile yesterday…….

-My 6th graders who were absolutely perfect all week.

-Team teaching with Anne.

-Emails from Alex. I know she is probably sick of desk duty but we like being able to email back and forth.

-We tried the spaghetti sauce we canned and it was great. Wahoo.

Love, Blessings and Grateful,

Rev. Chris
