For your consideration……

Sometimes it feels like we are standing still. Things are not quite clear or are unfocused. In reality nothing is ever stagnant or completely still. Time moves life along.

We have probably all heard the saying, “Where focus goes, energy flows.” It is important to remember this.

If it feels like we are stagnant or stuck, our focus is on being stagnant or stuck and our energy goes into keeping us from moving forward. It keeps us from making the progress we want to make. It is the same with everything; focus on lack creates lack, focus on success brings success, focus on failure impedes success, focus on the can brings success while focus on the can not impedes success, focus on need creates need, focus on gratitude for what we have brings us more of the same, focus on lack of love prevents love while focusing on and being grateful for the love we have brings us more.

Yes, this is the law of attraction. Today we are reminded to “notice” where our focus is. Remembering to “notice”  can sometimes be tricky. That old ego likes to sneak in and steal or shift  our focus. Today’s message is just a loving reminder of this.

….Sorry, I couldn’t resist.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……

-Meditate/pray…..”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?” Expect an answer. Listen for the answer. Ask you ego to stand down and don’t let it second guess it.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Notice your focus.

What made me smile yesterday……

-Great students.

-Including one student whose parents had sent in a note with questions on the curriculum. I called him up to get a letter I had for him to take home to his parents. I explained that I liked that his parent’s note because it showed they paid attention to what he was learning and were invested in his education. I went on to say that it was a nice note. He responded to me by telling that it was actually his step-mom that wrote it and that she was always nice. He went on to explain how good she was to him and his little brother. She always has been nice and she is always nice to everyone. My heart just felt so good that he recognized love and was so grateful for it that he wanted to tell me about it. Here is a perfect example of today’s message.

-Catching up with Jackie.

-and…..Cathy. Her and John got Alex’s Christmas card and were so excited.

-Alex, “I’m bummed I didn’t get to fly today because our jet broke.” Us to Alex, “We are so excited you didn’t fly in a broke jet.”

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
