Que Sera Sera

written by Ray Evans and Jay Livingston

When I was just a little girl
I asked my mother
What will I be
Will I be pretty
Will I be rich
Here’s what she said to me

Que sera, sera
Whatever will be, will be
The future’s not ours to see
Que sera, sera
What will be, will be

When I grew up and fell in love
I asked my sweetheart
What lies ahead
Will we have rainbows
Day after day
Here’s what my sweetheart said

Que sera, sera
Whatever will be, will be
The future’s not ours to see
Que sera, sera
What will be, will be

Now I have Children of my own
They ask their mother
What will I be
Will I be handsome
Will I be rich
I tell them tenderly

Que sera, sera
Whatever will be, will be
The future’s not ours to see
Que sera, sera
What will be, will be
Que Sera, Sera

For your consideration……
You know I love when we get our message via a song. I can’t remember the last time I heard this song but I remember my Dad loved it and I remember him singing it.
Our message today could not be clearer. Whatever will be will be. Whatever needs to be will be. Whoever needs to be in our path will be.
We do not have to worry about any of it. It is all taken care of. We need to let go of the outcome and be ready for what will be no matter what. It is all taken care of. It is all good.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..
-Meditate/pray….ask….”What is my next step for my good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Just be….fully present in what is.
What made me smile yesterday……
-A school play….”Alice in Wonderland.”
-Grocery shopping done on my way home.
-I was in my PJ’s by 5:00. Wahoo.
-A good book that I think I’ll go ahead and finish today.
Love, Blessings and Gratitude,
Rev. Chris
