For your consideration…….

It is rare that our message comes in with the image that is to be used. I just love when that happens. The above image was recently taken on the USS Carl Vinson currently deployed in the Middle East. Those in the above picture are United States Naval Academy graduates and I believe will be shown at the Army/Navy game. My son-in-law and I were talking Thanksgiving about what a shame it is that the entire “experience” of the Army/Navy game is not shown. While the TV audience is watching commercials, the stadium audience is watching the march on, the “spirit spots” shown over the scoreboard, the exchange of exchange students etc. Spirit spots from those deployed cheering their respective Academies is always a big hit.

How does that relate to today’s message? It is the “passion” defending the ship that is the key to today’s message. We are being called to defend our own ship….our authentic self…..with that same passion.

We were created perfect….exactly right…for our life purpose. We are reminded to stay true to that rather than “morph” into what we think is required. No matter the situation (school, work, social), we are to bring our true authentic self and trust that it is exactly what is needed. God has arranged the Universe for us to be where we are knowing full well who we are and what we are capable of. Trust that he knows what he is doing.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate/pray….ask….”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Trust you.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-Ahhhh Stillwater and sunshine.

-Good work done.

-I have a printer here at Stillwater. It has never been used….I have it just in case. Well yesterday I needed it and, of course, it needed to be set up. Probably because I had to down load the driver over my hot spot, it was a long process. Finally, I was successful. Yeah.

-Total relaxation.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
