For your consideration……

We have all heard the saying “An apple a day will keep the doctor away.” It is good advice for our physical health. Today’s message tells us that our spiritual health also need daily nourishment and care.

Every good deed we do is food for our soul…our authentic self….our spirit. We never know the total ramifications of our deeds. Once we create them, their energy reverberates on and on and on. Once we create them we do not have to give them further thought. The Universe takes it from there.

We are reminded again to suspend judgement. A smile or touch can be every bit as important as physically healing someone, buying them things, helping them physically etc. Neither bigger or smaller is better. Both are equally necessary. Every big and little bit is necessary. What counts is that we give it from our soul. We gift from soul to soul. What we give from our soul level come back to nourish it many times over.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……

-Meditate/pray….ask….”What is my next step for my highest purpose and the highest purpose of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Share of yourself.

What made me smile yesterday…….

-Perfect blue skies on a crisp day.

-Middle schoolers  usually don’t get recess but yesterday was “Fun Friday.” So those whose assignments were all turned in got to participate. I always volunteer to take a group outside. It was so cold, only about 12 students wanted to go but those 12 sure did have fun. What a joy!

-Errands ran to start the weekend off right.

-Talking to my sister, Lori. It’s our Friday thing.

-An email from Alex describing an intense mission. At the same time it was full of intensity, excitement, satisfaction, frivolous things and humor. Just as funny was her Dad’s reaction.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
