For your consideration…..
Today’s message was at once so powerful yet tender it brought me to tears. “Chris, you must make it more personal.”
Many times through many messages I have written that the world cannot change until the other half stands up…..women. For me it is so clear. Yet evidently, many women equate that to the women’s lib movement versus women just standing up and being who they were always meant to be. It is not about taking power but standing in our own. Still many do not relate.
So today our guides want the message to be more personal. It wants us to think…..really think long and hard about Motherhood. Very often especially in our cities we hear that it is the absence of a father role model that is decaying our society. Certainly, that is a part of it. Just as big a part of it is the havoc and stress it creates for the mothers. If we stop and really take a long hard look, we see many single mothers who raise kind, loving and responsible adults and parents. Simply put, where there is a strong mother children still tend to do well.
When we look at where there are serious world issues, the common denominator is the minimization of women. MORE than that, we see the minimization of MOTHERHOOD. Chaos can not stand up to fierce Motherhood so that bond must be broken. Look at how young most terrorists are. They have been stripped away from their mothers. Their relationship with their Mothers has been trivialized…..a Mother is no more than a birth machine.
But deep down in the core of our soul, we seek the heartbeat that we knew first. We seek the heartbeat that we synchronised our own to. We seek that beat that we recognize as unconditional love. For terrorism to exist, that bond must be broken. For hate to exist that bond must be broken.
I have had the honor to be present when a few people have passed from this dimension to the next. Without exception, the person they were waiting for to come take them was their Mother. They wanted the Mother that brought them into this world in love to take them to the next in love.
The bonds of Motherhood are never meant to be broken and if they are broken the world will shatter. We are reminded today to stand fierce in our Motherhood and unconditional love for our children.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……
-Meditate/pray….ask….”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Do something you love. Spend time with people you love.
What made me smile yesterday……
-Lots of fish in the canal at Stillwater.
-A good book.
-A fire in the fireplace.
-Good football games.
