For your consideration…….

Some of you know that I have a morning process. The order of things may change a bit but a couple of things always happen no matter what. I meditate, ask for the message for the blog and then I usually draw a card to read and journal on. This morning I made breakfast and then meditated. The message came in with the words….I Can’t and the effect they have on our lives. Next I pulled out Doreen Virtue’s “Archangel Oracle Cards.” While shuffling, the above card jumped out of the deck. I had to laugh at the affirmation to today’s message.

Everyday in some way we are being given nudges to take back our power…to step up to the plate. Most especially women are being asked to stand up and take full control of their power. It is the only way the world will change. We’ve heard it many many times. “The world will change when the other half of the population stands up and assumes their power.”

To that end, today’s message reminds us of the power of our thoughts and words. Most of us have probably heard this quote:

“Watch your thoughts, for they become words.

Watch your words, for they become actions.

Watch your actions, for they become habits.

Watch your habits, for they become character.

Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.”

Our thoughts and words matter. Therefore if the first thought and words are “I can’t”, we are setting ourselves up for failure. We have set the stage. As a teacher, my stomach literally cringes when I hear those words. Inside they make me angry and sad.

Yet when I hold up the mirror, I see that while I may not say the words very often, I sometimes think them. It has literally taken me seven years to sit down and make a serious attempt at writing a book that my Guidance assigned to me. I did better with this blog. It was designed and up and running three months after Archangel Metatron gave me the assignment. But I will be very honest and tell you the first words I said were “I can’t.” I did not just nod and say ok. Archangel Metatron was loving but steadfast. He would not let me back out. For every argument I put up for the “I can’t,” he had a solution. He promised that I would not be left stranded and I never have. Not one day has gone by that I was not given a message.

Our message today asks us to hold up that same mirror. Where we see and feel “I can’t”, know that we can. We can because our Guidance is ever ready with love and support. We will not be left stranded. We have nothing to fear in standing up and into our power.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……

-Meditate/pray….ask….”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Be conscious of your words. Eliminate “I can’t.”

What made me smile yesterday……

-A great morning meeting with my writing coach, Pat.

-A slow paced morning.

-A great teaching job in the afternoon.

-An easy ride up to Stillwater.

-A fun visit from our neighbors. Dude (our dog) is sooooo excited to see his girl friend, Brandy.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
