For your consideration…..

I giggled when I first got today’s message but tried it and was amazed.

We have been given a little task….game really. HOPEfully you are aware of the children’s book Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See.

Instead of “Brown Bear” we are to substitute our own name. Example: Chris, Chris what do you see? I see a blog looking at me. Blog, Blog what do you see? I see some Book Writing looking at me. Book Writing, Book Writing what do you see? etc. etc. etc.

This is not a “heavy-duty thinking” game. This is the first thing that “pops into your head” game. You go with the first thing that pops into your head without any judgement or reflection. You just take it and run with it until nothing further comes into your head. THEN you go back and look at what came through for you and acknowledge each one in a summary……Chris, Chris what do you see? I see a Blog, Book Writing, etc. etc. etc. looking at me.

A while back we were given a question that we can go into meditation with. (What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?” This little game is a fun way of doing the same thing. Just let go and have fun with it. Let your authentic self come through.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…….

-Meditate/pray….ask….”What is my step for my highest good and the highest good of all?” I need to add this is a question you may use if you are seeking answers. It goes without saying that if you have another question or intention you need your Guidance to help you with, that is exactly perfect for you.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Have fun with the “Brown Bear” game.

What made me smile yesterday…….

-Amelia thought to call me rather than assuming I had been listening to the news. Lesson….never assume. Make the call.

-An easy ride to Stillwater right after school.

-Dinner with my Uncle Tim.

-My first use of the fireplace of the season.

-Our water in the canal is the highest since I bought Stillwater.

-My Peanut had an “awesome” time at 7th grade camp.

-Alex was able to get out an email right before I went to bed.

My prayers and blessings go out to all of the crew aboard the USS Carl Vinson, the fleet that surrounds them, their family and friends.

I also send prayers and blessings to Dillon and  his family and friends he left behind.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
