You Must begin to trust yourself.

If you do not then you will forever be looking

to others to prove your own merit.

You will always be asking others what to do,

and at the same time resenting those

from whom you seek such aid.

Jane Roberts

For  your consideration……

Today talks about self-trust. Yes, we are part of a team. However, we still must trust ourselves first. The very first person we need to consult is ourselves. Remember the message about our “core” the other day? We were told that is where our truth and strength lie.

We must learn to trust ourselves first and foremost. Our first source must be ourselves. Otherwise we will have nothing valid to compare the information we are getting to. We will be seeing truth through others’ lens and filters and the value we have to contribute will be lost and the truth colored.

Know your value. Trust YOU first.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate/pray….ask….”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Listen to yourself first.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-My student and me, “Ms. Adams my leg hurts.” “Oh, did you hurt yourself?” “No” “Well what do you think is wrong?” “I’m growing!”

-Lots of sun for recess.

-Lots of household tasks done.

-A follow-up email from Alex trying to reassure me. I love that about her.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
