For your consideration……

I am not surprised at today’s message. It started coming in yesterday while I was talking to my friend, Dianne. Then later as I was sitting out on the deck at Stillwater with Bruce, I remember thinking how far we have come and wondering what it was like to be my husband. Then this morning I was reminded of those moments yesterday and about a reading I had done a couple of years ago. Our message today is to be about the support system provided for us on this side.

We often talk about our Guidance being ever present 24/7 because we need to be reminded that we are not alone. Our Guidance is always ready to help us through any problems or answers to any questions.

Today’s message speaks to those of us, HOPEfully, most of us that also have support on this side present in our lives. Of course, that is friends, relatives, teachers etc. Today’s message speaks to our partners, our spouses or significant other……those we often call our soul mate.

There is a sense that our soul mate is someone that is on the same page as us. They ike the same things. They have the same philosophies. They share the same belief system. We understand that kind of soul mate relationship. We don’t always understand or recognize that “soul mate” relationship that is not like that. It may even be the opposite of it.

I was reminded of the reading I had done a couple of years ago because it was for a very powerful spiritual woman. She has a big life purpose and was just starting to really bring it to fruition. That was all good but what her Guidance wanted her to do was turn around. It wanted her to see who supports her, who enables her, who clears and creates her space for her, who loves her no matter what and even if he does not understand what she does, he knows she must do.

I was reminded yesterday while talking to Dianne that our husbands, Bruce and Gary, support us as we march down our life purpose paths even though they are far different from anything we have ever done before. And even though they never saw it coming, don’t understand half of it and really had no consult in it. They respect the need and calling even though they can’t hear, see or feel it. They don’t mock it unless in loving jest and like my client’s husband they keep the space around us clear and loving. They keep the home waters smooth and float along with us.

When we find those partners we decide we want to spend our time with or marry, we have no idea where our lives are going. In fact, we often hear “We grew apart.” We accept that pretty readily but how often do we stop to think about the partners who grew in different directions or paths and still found a way to support, respect and love one another? Are they any less a “soul mate” or is that a test of a true test of one?

We are asked to take time today to reflect on the support our soul mate gives to us. They are a blessing.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……..

-Meditate/pray….ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Bask in this beautiful long weekend of summer. Be joyous in it. Bring joy to it.

What made me smile yesterday…….

-Listening to the foghorns on the shipping channel.

-Lots of sun with a beautiful breeze.

-Talking with Dianne, catching up. I am excited for her ordination.

-Hearing from Alex.

-Lots more writing done on my book.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
