For your consideration…….

Love is a choice. All love is a choice. Love for all people and things is a choice. F. Scott Fitzgerald wrote:

“There are all kinds of love in this world but never the same love twice.”

It is never the same twice because we are all completely unique from each other. We feel, see and hear through our unique soul, eyes and ears. Consider the Charlie Brown Christmas tree as an example. Some people see great beauty while others see it as pathetic. Some people look at it and see opportunity while others see no HOPE for it.

Our message today is very simple in delivery but the complexity of implementing it is completely dependent on us. We are told today that love is where YOU decide to find it. Love is your responsibility and no one else’s. You hold the power to have it…..or not.

For some of us this is no problem. We project so much love it is easy for us to see it everywhere we look and in everything we do. On the flip side some of us are more skeptical. We are looking for proof. We want love to find us. It has to earn our love before we are willing to show any ourselves.

Love is like all energy. It is attracted to like energy. When we are sad and/or lonely, it is easy to play the blame game. Someone has hurt us. We have lost someone or something that we love. We have a void. However, how we choose to fill it is completely dependent on  us.

The good and bad news is, depending on how you look at it, love is our responsibility. We hold the power to have it…..or not.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……

-Meditate/pray….ask….”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Choose love and watch the world open up before you.

What made me smile yesterday……

-A lazy morning.

-AJ’s softball games. Yeah, tournament champs in very good games.

-Lots of sun and air conditioning to recoup in.

-Catching up with Alex, Jodie and my Sis.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
