For your consideration……

Do you sometimes tend to over think things? I do. Sometimes it seems to be endless. The more I think I know the more I realize how much I don’t know and the more questions I have.

Judgement is like that for me. We have been told over and over again to suspend judgment. Certainly, it makes sense that we separate actions or behaviors from the person. It makes sense when we feel something is wrong to address the action and not attack the person.

However, doesn’t just that “decision” of right and wrong imply judgment? Are we just supposed to become door mats? How are we going to make the world a better place if we do not choose is what is right, good and enlightened….again doesn’t that imply judgment?

The answer is “no”. When we “know” something is right, when we “see” something is right when we “feel” something is right, no judgment is used. Knowing, seeing, and gut feeling is not using judgment…..good or bad. Our instincts, intuition, information, knowledge, whether we know how we acquired it or not are valid. We are not imparting judgment when we use them.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……

-Meditate/pray- ask…..”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Let your joy loose on the world.

What made me smile yesterday…….

-A great morning with Alex.

-Coffee with Alex and Joan.

-The comfort and peace of Stillwater after we dropped our Alex off at the airport.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
