For your consideration…….

We know that gratitude helps us to grow. It helps because we are focused on what makes us happy and then serves as a magnet to attract more. It is so easy. Why don’t we do it more often?

When we ask someone or someone asks us, “How is it going?” or “What is going on?”, we all to often say “not much” or “nothing special”. Well there is a clue for us. If that is our attitude, that is exactly what we are attracting more of.

Today we are told we can change our life, “one small moment” at a time. Give pause each day. Reflect on your day. Ask yourself what small moment would you like to hold on to? What small moment would you not want to let go of? What small moment were you the most proud of? What small moment made you feel complete?

You get the picture. Pause and ask yourself questions until you identify the small moment you are most grateful for. Focus on what made it so. Be grateful for it. This will open you up for more of the same.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…….

-Meditate/pray…..pause, reflect open yourself up for your Guidance.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Reflect and journal what you are grateful for.

What made me smile yesterday……..

-I returned to a classroom I have not been in for a a long time. It was great to see how much they have improved.

-I fell asleep shortly after I got home from school. When I woke, I saw it was 7:30. I jumped up thinking I had overslept and was late for school. When I saw my husband was up, which he would never be at 7:30, I asked him what day it was. Still thinking I overslept, I was HOPEing it was the weekend. I was so relieved when I found out it was still early evening.

-If there is a mud puddle to be found, students will find it. They sure have a fun time until they are caught playing in it.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
