For your consideration…….

When I started this blog almost three years ago, I wish I would have known of a way to count the times the word love is used. It has to be thousands by now and that is as it should be because in the end the bottom line of absolutely everything is love.

Today’s message speaks specifically to the “doubt” of love. Today’s message is for those who doubt that their love was enough. Today’s message is for those who have those heart wrenching “if only” or “I wish” doubts going on in their head and heart i.e…..

-If I had known this was the last time I would see or hold them, I would have…..

-Why wasn’t my love enough?

-Did/do they know how much I love them?

-If I had one more moment to do over, I would……

We are asked to listen carefully, “Love is always enough. It is always good. It is infinite and permanent.” Remember, love that is real has no strings attached.

Simply put, love is forever. This is why it is so difficult when romantic relationships do not work out. The relationship has served its time and purpose. It is time to move on but while anger and hurt may be overshadowing it, the love is there and will be there forever. The energy of love can never be destroyed. So while it may not seem like a blessing at the time, it is truly a precious gift.

And for those who wish they had that one more moment to make absolutely clear how much someone means to them, there simply is no need. Our loved one knows. When you gifted your love to them, it was permanently placed in their soul. Again, it is there forever. It can not be destroyed in this lifetime or any other. Our loved one absolutely knows our love for them.

The HOPE is that you absolutely know this beyond any shadow of a doubt in both your heart and your soul. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…….

-Meditate/pray…..ask your ego to step out and listen to the silence.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Relax and to what makes you happy. Laugh out loud.

What made me smile yesterday…….

-Sunshine and warm temps. I am starting to see little bits of our yard.

-Funny funny grandchildren.

-Corned beef and cabbage……yum yum.

-A great relaxing evening with the Gordons.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
