For your consideration……

Who doesn’t like chocolate? What woman doesn’t turn to chocolate to sooth her soul? How often has chocolate been used as a peace-offering or given as a sign of affection?

Today’s message compares our heart and soul to the finest chocolate. It is used to remind us of who we are, our value and how our soul needs to be treated.

Fine chocolate is made from the best ingredients. It is pure with nothing artificial added.

Fine chocolate is never watered down because it renders it useless.

Fine chocolate is firm and when broken does not fall apart.

Fine chocolate melts easily with little heat or effort. It can be molded and remolded without changing its essence.

Fine chocolate needs to be kept with care. It needs to be kept fresh. It needs the right environment so it does not become rank, its surface discolored or spotty.

We are asked today to take good care of our soul. It is a fine gift capable of many great things.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……

-Meditate/pray……cleanse your soul each and every day.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Treat yourself well.

What made me smile yesterday……..

-Waking up at Stillwater.

-More mild temperatures and sunshine.

-Lots of the river is open and flowing. A slow melt will be good.

-A good book.

-A great seafood dinner.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
