For your consideration……

We are reminded today to take care of ourselves and put ourselves first. I know, it sounds selfish. It feels selfish. Yet how can we truly be of service if we are ill? If we are not strong mentally and physically, we are limited in the service to others we are able to give.

We are being asked today to dedicate time each day to ourselves and our own well-being. This includes, considering the foods we eat. This includes drinking lots of water. This includes physical exercise.  This includes spending time with Mother Nature and taking in some deep breaths. This includes a period of alone time to meditate and/or pray and listening to our authentic self and our Guidance. This includes recognizing stress and releasing it as quickly as possible through deep breathing. This includes living in faith that it is all good.

Oh my, this sounds like a lot. But read again. A lot of the of it can be done in sync with daily living and requires no special time. But some does and we are being asked to commit to taking care of health.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…….

-Meditate/pray…..spend that alone time. Do not judge the time and quality. It it is a couple of minutes it is perfect. It is the commitment that counts.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths. They do not have to be all at once. They can be walking to and from your car.

-Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Walk a little faster. Do a few exercises during lunch or a break.

What made me smile yesterday……

-An amazing and fun job.

-Bill’s is still open.

-Errands run quickly…..just clicking into place…..no wait no fuss.

-A good book.

-The Tigers.

-Laughing with Cathy.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
