For your consideration……

Through out our life we travel many miles figuratively and literally. Some miles are fun and easy. Some miles are hard work. Some miles were planned. Some miles were not. Some miles got us exactly where we set out to go. Some miles took us to a surprise location. Some miles were flat while others were a climb. Some miles the scenery was beautiful while others rather boring. Sometimes we felt like traveling yet others we had to be forced or  coaxed into going. Sometimes those miles went by quickly but other times they seemed endless. Some miles we traveled with partners and others we were quite alone. Some miles we enjoyed. Some miles we feel we could have done without…….

Could have done without? No…. Never. That is the message today. Every one of those miles, indeed every step of those miles, was earned and necessary. Every single move we made was instrumental to bringing us to this moment. If we had known all those miles we have traveled in advance, we would have been overwhelmed. So now as we look back we can pick up a valuable life lesson. We are fully capable of walking the miles of our life. We can see and know that now. We didn’t know this is where we were going to be. Yet here we are. We can’t see or know the outcome of the rest of our miles but now we know we don’t have to. So let go of fear and walk the miles of your life in complete confidence. Enjoy the journey.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……

-Meditate/pray…ask for guidance. Ask for what you need.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Relax…..

What made me smile yesterday……

-A lazy at home morning.

-The sun. I shudder to think of how cold it would have been without it.

-A wild goose chase. I should write a book on the quests I go for the right “writing pens”. That’s a story in itself.

-Leftovers.

-Snuggling under a blanket and watching season premiers of my favorite shows.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
