For your consideration…….
Each day….each moment actually….is an opportunity for a new beginning.
For all kinds of reasons, we often put off starting things we really want to do. Maybe it is a big project or life event that we feel we don’t have the time for. Perhaps it is so special we want to wait until we can put our “whole heart and soul” into it. Perhaps we have obligations that we feel need to be cleared up first.
What we are told today that when we do that, we put parameters around it stifling the creative process that wants to be free. There is always something that can be done. It doesn’t have to be the “big beginning” that we have planned. We can let our creative process loose and give us little steps that prepare us for the “big” launch we have envisioned. We can have a beginning any time we allow it.
There is a second part to this message today. When we put up the boundaries of “until” or “when” or “after”, we are in essence wishing away time. Wishing away time puts us in a place where we can not fully appreciate or “be” in the present moment. When we are not fully present in the now, we miss the opportunities that are put before us.
Today…..each day……is a new beginning. Live fully.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……
-Meditate/pray…..listen to your authentic self. Learn to recognize its voice.
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Intend for today to be a new beginning. Let it be all that it can be.
What made me smile yesterday…….
-Ahhhh the first day of school and all the excitement.
-Sweet first graders.
-Beautiful weather. The best thing about teaching grade school is that you get to be outside for recess.
-Peanut and AJ like their new teachers.
-Bad Bob stopped by to show us his shiny new red Harley. Pretty…..
