“Authentic Self” by Donna Estabrooks

For  your consideration……..

At first our message may seem harsh. But when we let go of judgement and remember that our God, Angels and Guides always come from love, we see the beauty in today’s message.

We are reminded that we only have one “face” and one “voice. True, we are multi-faceted human beings. But we only have one face and one voice. When we are asked to not be two-faced, we are being asked to drop the facades we sometimes present to the world.

We have a million reasons for not letting our true authentic self shine 24/7 for all the world to see. If we strip those reasons down, we will find that they are all unreal and untrue because they come from judgement….ours and/or others. We realize we respond to expectations that are sometimes not true or real.

God did not make a mistake when he designed us. We are exactly perfect. And he promises that the very best way to live our very best life is to live an authentic one. We are asked to always let the face and voice of our authentic self (you know…..that one that always comes from peace and love) be the only face and voice we use and present to the world.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……..

-Meditate/pray…..syncronize with your authentic self.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Be happy and joyous with the perfection of you.

What made me smile yesterday……..

-Our road trip continued into Ohio where Cathy and I visited Lucky Cafe in Cleveland. We had seen it on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. It was worth the trip. The food was delicious. The staff was gracious and efficient. We loved ticking off the experience on our “bucket list”.

-We took a break and visited with Nick and Kathy at their Point Retreat in Sandusky, Ohio.

-Ahhhh, home sweet home. Whoops the basement really did flood and Bruce really didn’t pick anything up. Why am I smiling? Because Cathy and I were working machines….especially her. A good 25% of my basement is cleaned out which was also on my bucket list.

-Then for the fun stuff…..we made cards. Cathy is going home with beautiful cards for 3 up coming events.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
