For your consideration……..

“What doesn’t kill you will make you stronger.” My Mom used to say that to me and maybe yours did as well. It sounds rather harsh. Instead, I like to say “It’s all good”.  The meaning is the same.

We all go through tough times…..trials and tribulations. When they occur, whether we realize it or not, we have gained some confidence. We’ve learned some things. We have added to our resilience. Deep down we know we are tougher than we might feel. We are survivors.

And HOPEfully we realize we are not alone. In good times and in bad we do not walk through them alone. And we have grown in each the same.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

“Success is to be measured not so much by the position

that one has reached in life as to the

obstacles which he has overcome”

Booker T. Washington

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……

-Meditate/pray…….feel the strength of your core.

-Drink lots of water.

-Take at least 10 deep breaths outdoors.

-Reflex on all of your experience today. Be grateful for it all.

What made me smile yesterday…….

-Spending the day with family…..Cathy, Michelle, Randy, Tristan and Devon.

-The Farmers Market.

-Meeting Randy and Michelle’s friends as we tagged along to their bowling league.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
